I believe there is always power in pen and paper. Placing your learning on paper has a higher learning retention rate. This has been backed by a recent study conducted by the University of Tokyo on Science Daily.

A survey conducted among university students and recent graduates has indicated that writing on actual paper can enhance brain activity while recollecting information one hour later.

Experts suggest that the distinctive, intricate, physical, and tactile information linked with handwritten notes on physical paper is the reason for the enhancement of memory.

Additionally, I can endorse through my own personal experience that retention rates on learning are far higher through pen and paper. This has also been the reason I invest a lot on stationery and carry a notebook with me wherever possible.

Do try it!
