Hello out there, yes you, the 780 million people out there who lack access to water facilities and not forgetting the other 60 million who die from water-related diseases. Just thought of dropping in to say that we are indeed sorry to inform that the ice bucket challenge is just not for you. We need to remind ourselves of ALS at this moment, even though it bears no direct connection to throwing a bucket of icy cold water on our heads.
Don’t take offense while we tend to forget that you have been deprived of a basic necessity such as water, especially since there’s plenty of it in our parts of the world and plenty in all our celebrity homes.We hope you understand that we need to raise charity here and if we choose not to, we are free to force some ice water on ourselves to remind ourselves that we are doing it on behalf of ALS. It’s really that simple.
Meanwhile, Ebola please sort yourself out and continue to kill millions while we finish raising awareness here. If you’re lucky enough we shall give a flash of thought to you as well. It’s really outrageous fun that we don’t mind doing something wrong to get about to do something right. We just can’t seem to get enough fun out of all those viral YouTube videos that are rocking. Most importantly, we also hope you realize that some of us are helping the companies of bagged ice prosper by ‘buying’ the ice off them, do you? What difference is the money spent on that going to have on charity anyway?
We are yet to come up with a fun gig to raise awareness to your end but don’t worry once we do, we shall make the videos fun and viral. The need of the moment is a bucket of ice water to be poured on our heads to remind ourselves that we must give charity and that diseases do exist. Meanwhile, please bear with us till we drench ourselves with this icy cold reminder.
