There is power in intention. The intention of what you are doing is the focal point of any action. This is the reason we are rewarded for having a good intention. Further, if the good intention is executed, the reward is multiplied a tenfold. I used to pray my voluntary sunnahs for every prayer before. However, as life happened sometimes there was tiredness, laziness and a lack of time that constricted my voluntary prayers especially the six sunnahs of the luhar prayer.
However, a little before last Ramadan, I made a firm decision that I will make the intention to in sha Allah somehow pray the voluntary sunnahs of every prayer. Initially, I made only the intention to pray but gave myself the flexibility to follow up with the intention. I realised once I made the intention, the liking to follow it up and reap the entire reward of fulfilling the action follows almost easily.
Therefore, let every small or big action be followed through a powerful intention. Once the intention is sincere, it will be easier for a good action to follow through.
