Do you realise why we face tests in life? God has His reasons. What I have learnt is,
You will never value a touch that is soft, if you haven’t felt a grip that is harsh,
You will never value kind words, if you haven’t heard the hurling of abusive words,
You will never realize what a blessing sleep is, if hurt and sadness hadn’t kept you up on most nights,
You will never value well-meaning friends and family unless you were surrounded by those who never wished you well,
You will never know if God existed, until He pulled you out of a situation where you never thought you could leave!
Some lessons are learnt the hard way only so that we can appreciate goodness when it arrives.
Next time you feel Allah has given you a challenge, know that He wants you to learn to appreciate something way better that is coming your way.
Life in general is so very hard but with patience, faith and gratitude, you can conquer the toughest mountain!
