I can still see her.
My mother, standing in quiet devotion, hands raised, eyes closed, whispering prayers full of hope.
✨️
Beside her, there was five-year-old me, small, curious, watching as she spoke to God with such warmth and sincerity.

I saw the peace it brought her. I felt the presence of something greater just by sitting next to her.
She would invite me to join, not with force but with an open heart.
She never made prayer feel like an obligation.
✨️
This is where my own spiritual journey began. Not because I was told I HAD to pray, but because I WANTED to.
I think about this often, especially when I see people struggling with prayer or faith.
✨️
Many try to push, to force, to remind with urgency. However, the more we force, the more resistance we create.
Even the Quran tells us: ‘And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers’ (51:55)
✨️
When we make people feel bad for not praying, when we speak of punishment instead of peace, we do not bring them closer, we push them away.
The heart opens not through pressure, but through love.
✨️
So if there’s someone in your life, a child, a loved one, a family member who is distant from prayer, remember this, your example speaks louder than your words.
✨️
Pray where they can see and live in a way that radiates the beauty of faith.
That’s the true invitation.
That’s what makes all the difference.
Giving you a gentle reminder,
